Ronson Touch-Tip
Table Lighters
These lighters were made in the mid-
to late-1930s. A flame is produced when you press the wand down on the
touch-tip mechanism producing a spark which, in turn, ignites the wick
at the end of the wand.
Ronson produced about 60 different
models--some extremely rare and others a bit more common.

Bartender Touch-Tip
This is the definitive vintage
lighter that should be in any collection. (The high market price
prevented it from being in my collection until now.)
It was made in 1936 and it
is one of the most desirable of the Ronson Touch-Tip lighters. The
touch-tip lighter and wand are in the center section of the bar.
Cigarette storage compartments are located in the left and right
sections of the bar.

Jr.
Bartender / Barmaid
This is the Ronson Junior Bartender
Touch-Tip lighter (also referred to as the Junior Bar or Barmaid
model). It is circa 1937. The lady bartender stands about an inch
taller than the more popular Ronson Bartender model. Also, there
are no cigarette compartments in this model.
This piece has a great semi-circular
deco design and may be a bit less common than the male Ronson Bartender
Touch-Tip model.

Touch-Tip
8-Day Clock
This Ronson combination lighter
and 8-day clock was made around 1937.
It is a rather heavy and large
piece. The one I have (pictured) has a dureum finish, but I have
also seen them in a two-tone ivory and tortoise enamel finish.

Touch-Tip
Colonnade Lighter
This table lighter, circa 1940,
is one of the later Ronson touch-tip models. It has four clear plastic
columns, a faux tortoise-finish body, and a bronze base and bronze
top.

Touch-Tip
Ship's Wheel
This Ronson touch-tip lighter
is also referred to as the Nautical. It doesn't have the deco design
common to most other touch-tips, but it is still a nice item.
