1947 Belmont 21A21

This distinctive-looking 7" tabletop set has slide-rule tuning (similar to a radio) and sold new for about $150. My set was a prototype of Belmont's 1947 line that used a 7GP4 CRT (it has since been converted to a 7JP4 CRT). In 1949, Belmont ceased TV production, and Raytheon bought their facilities. Raytheon continued to manufacture TVs until 1956.

This TV has been restored to working condition.
