My favorite classic films include the following:

  • Swing Time (Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers)
  • The Maltese Falcon (Humphrey Bogart and Mary Astor)
  • Sunset Boulevard
  • Follies Bergere (Maurice Chevalier and Ann Sothern)
  • Blonde Venus (Marlene Dietrich and Cary Grant)
  • I'm No Angel (Mae West and Cary Grant)
  • The Thin Man (cocktails and more cocktails)

I also like very early sound films from the late 1920s thru the early 1930s and "B-movie" musicals with stars like Alice Faye, Ramon Navarro, or Joan Blondell (even though the musical numbers are often the only entertaining parts of the movie).
