1948 Philco 48-700
This tabletop TV has a 7"
screen, and a somewhat large cabinet (14" high, 22" wide,
19" deep) compared to other 7-inch sets.
This was one of the first sets
produced by Philco, in a production of less than 8,000 sets.
This set has not yet been restored
to working condition.

1948
Philco 48-1000
This was the
first Philco TV, in a production of about 25,000 sets. It has a
10 inch screen housed in a large unique designed cabinet. It was
one of the most difficult TVs for me to locate and add to my collection.
This TV has
been restored to excellent working condition.

1948
Philco 48-1001
This large table
top television has a 10 inch screen. It has a slightly domed top
and a concealed front panel that hides additional knobs. The insides
of this TV are identical to the Philco 48-1000 shown above. I am
told that Philco produced about 7000 of these sets.
This TV has
been restored to excellent working condition.

1949
Philco 49-1077
This is the
first combination TV/Radio/Phono made by Philco. I believe it is
one of two or three different cabinet designs. Like most early Philco
TVs, it has a small 10" screen.
The TV, radio,
and phonograph in this unit have all been restored to excellent
working condition.

1949
Philco 49-1278
This TV/radio/phonograph
set is one of the nicest cabinet designs (in my opinion) of any
vintage TV.
It still looks
stylish (60 years later) and looks like it would have fit into any
fashionable New York apartment of the era.

1953
Philco 53-T1854 17" Console
This console
television has a 17 inch rectangular screen in a dark mahogany cabinet.
Though not necessarily collectible (or valuable), my grandmother
bought a TV just like this one when TV broadcasts first became available
in the Portland area and continued to use this TV for the next 15
years.
This TV has
been restored to excellent working condition and still produces
a fantastic picture on all stations.

1959
Philco Predicta Barber Pole
This is the 21" floor
model Predicta Barber Pole (or Pedestal) model. It was made in two
wood finishes: dark mahogany (shown) and a blonde finish.
This TV has not yet been restored.
